CCR1983217RESOLUTION #217-83 AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF BID (LEMBEZEDERIGOLD STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT) WHEREAS, bids had been solicited for the watercourse relocation project known as the LembezederJGold Storm Drainage Project, and WHEREAS, the following bids have been received: Reesman's Excavating $ 74,111.55 Rawson Contractors 74,610.00 Michels Pipe Line 78,812.00 Koch & Bonness, Inc. 92,118.00 Globe Contractors 95,427.50 D. F. Tomasini Contractors, Inc. 95,842.00 DeBelak Bros, Inc. 96,161.10 W. K. Fredricks ti Son, Inc. 97,122.00 Joe DeBelak Plumbing ti Htg. Co., 128,011.00, and Inc . e WHEREAS, the above bids have been reviewed by the City's consulting engineers, Ruekert & Mielke, and they have recommended that the low bid of Reesman's Excavating in the amount of $74,111.55 be accepted, and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed these bids and has recommended acceptance of the low bid with funds from TID #5. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recornendation of the City's consulting bid of Reesman's Excavating in the amount of $74,111.55, with engineers and the Finance committee, does hereby accept the low funds to be taken from TID #5. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name of the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required contract and insurance certificate must be submitted by Reesman's Excavating prior to the start of construction.
