DENIAL OF PETITION TO REZONE LAND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER OF SECTION 5 FROM R-2 to RS-2 (DALE DAWSON PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held on June 26, 1983,
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission in Resolution #68-83 recommended
the denial of a petition to rezone the Dale Dawson property
from R-2 to RS-2, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission expressed concern with the
density allowed by RS-2 zoning and if this would be a planned
unit development to preserve the wetland-floodplain area and
the unusual terrain, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission recommended that the Common
Council amend.the petition to rezone the property from R-2
to RS-1.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby deny the petition to rezone the land
located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 5 from R-2 to RS-2.
