INDEBTEDNESS FOR FIRE TRUCK TID #I) AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE
WHEREAS, the amended project plan for Tax Incremental Financing
District No. 1 has been approved by the Common council, and
WHEREAS, Fire Department equipment is included in this Project
plan, and
WHEREAS, the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company purchased a
Fire Truck for Station NO. 2, and
WHEREAS, principal and interest payments have been included
in the operating budget of the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company,
and
WHEREAS, the City General Fund has been reimbursed with TIF
funds from TID ill, and
WHEREAS, the indebtedness remaining is $25,460.86 as of July 1, 1983, and
WHEREAS, the Finance committee has reviewed this matter and
has recommended that the loan be paid in full at this time
by using funds from TID #l, and
WHEREAS, the operating budget of the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company could then be reduced by $2,660.50.
THEMFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the acceptance of the indebtedness in the
amount of $25,460.86 for the Fire Truck purchased for Station No. 2
by the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company, with funds to cover this indebtedness to be taken from TID 111.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 1983 operating budget of the
Muskego Volunteer Fire Company shall be reduced by the amount of $2,660.50. 6
