ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR NEW HIGHWAY TRUCK e

WHEREAS, on January 11, 1983, the Common Council adopted
Resolution #2-83, entitled, Approval of Public Works Depart-
ment Capital Budget, which included the purchase of a new
highway truck, and
WfEREAS, bids for the new highway truck have been advertised
for, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:
Metro Trucks $37,966
Milwaukee Truck Center 38,175
Badger Ford 38,810
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
low bid of Netro Trucks in the amount of $37,966 be accepted.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of hluskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee, does hereby accept the bid of Metro Trucks for a
new highway truck in the amount of $37,966, from Capital Budget
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
of the City.
