AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH
FORMAL OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED LOT
(Parcel #3 - Fairfield Dr.)
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1983, the Common Council of the City of
Muskego adopted Resolution #136-82, entitled, Authorizing the
Sale of City-Owned Property, a'nd
WHEREAS, one of the parcels offered for $20,000.00 by the
city is located on the corner of McShane Dr. and Fairfield
Dr. (Parcel #3), and
WHEREAS, on January 31, 1983, the city received an informal
offer to purchase the above listed lot in the amount of
$20,000.00 from Brian C. and Nancy Anne Potters, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the city
attorney be authorizead to formalize the offer to purchase,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the city attorney to contact the buyer
to prepare the necessary formal offer to purchase Parcel #3
on Fairfield Drive, the buyer being Brian C. Potters and
Nancy Anne Potters in the amount of $20,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents to consummate the
sale of the property in the name of the city, if satisfactory
to the city attorney.
