CCR1982237RESOLUTION #237-82 i" DEXIAL OF REZONING REQUEST (Tara Land Corp.) WHEREAS, the city has received a petition to rezone a parcel of land on the SE corners of Martin Drive and College Ave. in the NWt of Sec. 4 from Tara Land Corporation from RS-2 to RS-2 (OOS), and WHEREAS, a petition signed by 58 persons living either adjacent to or in the immediate area of the narcel in question opposing the proposed rezoning has- also been received, and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended denial of the proposed rezoning, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission, does hereby deny the request of Tara Land Corporation to Drive and College Ave. in the NWB of Sec. 4 from rezone a parcel of land on the SE corner of Martin RS-2 to RS-2 (00s) because the area is best suited for residential development.
