DIRECTING THE ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH
FOWL OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED
LOT (Lot 26 - Fountainwood Sub.)
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1982, the Common Council of the City of
Muskego adopted Resolution 11136-82, entitled, Authorizing the
sale of City-Owned Property, and
WHEREAS, one of the parcels offered for sale by the city was
Lot 26, Fountainwood Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1982, the city received an informal
offer to purchase the above listed lot in the amount of
$3,000.00 from Mr. Roger Kostello, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the city
attorney be authorized to formalize the offer to purchase
from Mr. Kostello,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the reconmendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the city attorney to contact the buyer
to prepare the necessary formal offer to purchase for Lot 26,
Fountainwood Subdivision, the buyer being Mr. Roger Kostello,
in the amount of $3,000.00 with $500.00 down as earnest money.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents to consummate the
sale of the property in the name of the city if satisfactory to
the city attorney. -
