ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR NEW HIGHWAY TRUCK
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of June, 1982 the Common Council
of TIF Funds for Public Works Project, which included the
adopted Resolution #125-82, entitled, Authorizing Expenditure
purchase of a new highway truck, and
WHEREAS, funds for the purchase of the new truck were to
come from TIF District No. One, and
WHEREAS, bids for the new highway truck have been advertised
for, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:
International Harvester
Badger Ford Co. (with options)
GMC Metro (with options)
$40,194.00
41,458.00
42,395 .OO
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
bid of Badger Ford Company in the amount of $41,458.00 be
accepted because the options included in that bid would be
more advantageous to the city.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works Committee,
does hereby accept the bid of Badger Ford Company for a new 1962
with a Heil body, in the amount of $41,458.00, funds to be taken
Model highway truck equipped with snowplow and material spread,
from TIF District No. One.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name of
the city.
