DIRECTING THE ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH FORMAL
OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED LOT
(Lot 7 - Krogman's Sub.)
(Center Drive)
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1982, the Common Council of the City of
Muskego adopted Resolution #136-82, entitled, Authorizing the
sale of City-Owned Property, and
WHEREAS, one of the parcels offer for sale by the city was
Lot 7, Krogman's Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 1982, the city received an informal
offer to purchase the above listed lot in the amount of
$7,500.00 from Mr. Craig Effinger, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the city
attorney be authorized to formalize the offer to purchase
from Mr. Effinger,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
Of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the city attorney to contact the buyer
Krogman's Subdivision, the buyer being Mr. Craig Effinger,
to prepare the necessary formal offer to purchase for Lot 7,
in the amount of $7,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents to consummate the
sale of the property in the name the city if satisfactory
to the city attorney.
