FINALIZING DEPARTMENT HEAD'S PROPOSALS
REGARDING THE CITY'S DEFICIT
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of July, 1982, the Common Council of
the City of Muskego adopted Resolution #l54-82, entitled, Directiv,
Relating to the 1982 City Deficit, and
WHEREAS, in that resolution the balance of the deficit was
$44,717.00 after adjusting the extra pay period from 1982
into 1983 and placing the unspent portion in the library
salary account in the amount of $12,513.00 and using the
$7,800.00 in the salary account of the Public Works Department,
and
WHEREAS, the aldermen, the police dept., park dept., building insp,
recreation department, public works department and the city
clerk's office have met their portion of the deficit, and
WHEREAS, a balance of $1,613.00 remained in the administration
accounts and the Finance Committee has recommended applying
this amount towards the city treasurer, assessor and plan
commission's share of the deficit which these departments were
unable to meet, and
WEREAS, the Muskego Professional Policemen's Association has
requested the attached addendum to the 1982 contract agreement
between the city and the MPPA be executed by the Mayor,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does
hereby accept the above proposals as submitted by the department
heads of the city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is also authorized to
execute the addendum to the contract between the city and the
Muskego Professional Policeman's Association as attached.
