RESOLUTION #168-82
(As Amended)
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED
LOT (Lot 12 Block 16 - Fountainwood Sub.)
WITH FORMAL OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1982, the Common Council of the City of
Muskego adopted Resolution #136-82, entitled, Authorizing the
sale of City-Owned Property, and
WHEREAS, one of the parcels offered for $5,000.00 by the city
was Lot 12 Block 16, Fountainwood Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, on July 21, 1982, the city received an informal offer
to purchase the above listed lot in the amount of $5,000.00
from Mr. John E. Salentine of Franklin, Wisconsin, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the city
attorney be authorized to formalize the offer to purchase,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the city attorney to contact buyer to
prepare the necessary formal offer to purchase for Lot 12,
Block 16, Fountainwood Subdivision, the buyer being Mr. John
E. Salentine of Franklin, Wisconsin in the amount of $5,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents to consummate the
sale of the property in the name of the city if satisfactory
to the city attorney.
