AUTHORIZING THE RE-PURCHASE OF LOT 6
BLOCK 4 IN THE CITY'S INDUSTRIAL
PARK (Marcott)
WHEREAS, the City has received notification from Mr. Robert A.
Marcott that, in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of
the City's Industrial Park, he is exercising the requirement
City of Muskego, and
that he sell Lot 6, Block 4 (2 acres) owned by him back to the
WHEREAS, the purchase price of the lot was $24,000.00 and
according to the Rules and Regulations of the park, the City
has the right to re-purchase the lot for the same amount plus
interest, and
WHEREAS, the Rules and Regulations also state that in the event
of re-purchase of a lot, the City is required to pay for any
improvements on the lot, and
WHEREAS, a gas main in the amount of $510.33 was installed in
front of the lot and the City would also be required to pay
interest on that amount, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the re-purchase
of said lot,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
of the Muskego Business/Industrial Park from Mr. Robert A Marcott
does hereby agree, in principal, to re-purchase Lot 6, Block 4
in the amount of $24,000.00 plus 6 percent interest from the 19th
day of May, 1978.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr, Marcott be reimbursed the cost
of installation of gas main in the amount of $510 33 plus interest
charges in the amount of 6 percent from October 22, 19.78.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is authorized to
prepare the necessary documents or request them from Mr. Marcott and
that the Clerk and Mayor are authorized to execute same in the name
of the City if satisfactory to the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that monies to purchase this property shall come from the Capital Budget Account and shall be returned upon the
sale of this property,
