AUTHORIZING SALE OF WEED HARVESTORS TO LITTLE
MUSKEGO LAKE PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION
DISTRICT
.. WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation
District has requested the possible purchase or continued lease of the weed harvestors and conveyor, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed this matter and
has recommended a cost of $32,500 for the weed harvestors and
conveyor with $12,500 down and two payments of $10,000 each over
a two year period, pursuant to an agreement executed by the
Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District and
City, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee further recommended that if
the weed harvestors and conveyor are not purchased by the
Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District,
the $5,000.00 lease fee would be continued with maintenance
the responsibility of the Lake District.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the sale of the weed harvestors and conveyor
to the Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District
for $32,500 with a down payment of $12,500 and two payments of
$10,000 each over a two year period.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the weed harvestors and conveyor
are not purchased by the Lake District, the $5,000.00 lease
fee for the year 1983 shall be continued with maintenance the
responsibility of the Lake District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this is not a formal agreement rather
of the weed cutters and conveyor be known to the Little Muskego
an intent of the Finance Committee to let the views on the sale
Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
