AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT BETWEEN
FOR LIFE INSURANCE FOR CITY OF MUSKEGO EMPLOYES
TRANS AMERICA LIFE AND CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, the City presently is under contract with North
Azerican to provide life insurance to City employes, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed bids for
identical coverage and has recommended the policy with
North American be cancelled and the City enter into an
agreement with Trans herica to provide life insurance
for City employes at an annual savings of $538.56.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
cancel the present contract with North American and to execute an agreement with Trans America Life whereby they
will provide life insurance to City Employes with identical
coverage as the present policy, at an annual cost of
$5,116.32 for a savings of $538.56.
