DENIAL OF ZONING REQUEST
(Re: Heritage Park, Inc.)
WHEREAS, the city has received a petition to rezone a
parcel of land west of Heritage Church on College
Avenue in the NW1/4 of Section 1 from RS-2 to RSA (OPD)
from Heritage Park, Inc., and
WHEREAS, sewerage from that area is conveyed to the
city's northeast sewage treatment plant, and
WHEREAS, the city presently has a moratorium on any
development of over four units, and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning request included 37 sewer
connections, and
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1982, the Common Council defeated
a resolution directing the city attorney to draft the
map of the city as per the submitted petition, and
implementing ordinance to amend the zoning distirct
WHEREAS, on Septembeq.7, 1982, after further study, the
Plan Commission and clty engineer recommended that the
District Zoning Map dot be amended to rezone this property
until the sewer mora-korium has been lifted and approval of
the sewer extension an be obtained, and the requirements
of the OPD (overlay- E lanned development) can be met.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby deny the request from
Heritage Park, Inc. to rezone a parcel of land west of
Heritage Church on College Avenue in the NW 1/4 of
of the Plan Commissioy and city engineer that the District
