AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF TIF FUNDS FOR BIG
MUSKEG0 LAKE FEASIBILITY STUDY
WHEREAS, the project plan for Tax Increment Finance District
No. Four has been approved by the Common Council, and
WHEREAS funds for the Big Muskego Lake Feasibility Study were
included in that project plan, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council, in Resolution #158-80 approved
the district's portion of the cost of the feasibility study,
and
WHEREAS, the total indebtedness of the district exceeds this
amount by $10,966.60 due to the unavailability of the state's
shared cost of this project, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of
the payment of the unpaid balance of the feasibility study
in order that it will not become a liability of the Big Muskego
Lake District,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby approve of the expenditure of TIF funds in the
amount of $10,966.60 from TIF District No. Four.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event that state grant
monies become available the funds would be returned to TIF
District No. Four. n
