AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TW0,NEW UNMARKED
SQUAD CARS

WHEREAS, the Police Department had been authorized to purchase
two (2) unmarked squad cars, and
WHEREAS, quotes from two different car dealers on cars meeting
squad car specifications have been received, and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase have been provided for in the
1982 Police Department budget, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the police
department be authorized to purchase two (2) vehicles to be
used as unmarked squad cars from Jack Griffin Ford at a price
of $6,135.00 per unit,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the purchase of two (2) vehicles to be
used as unmarked squad cars from Jack Griffin Ford at a price
of $6,135.00 per unit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk-Comptroller be
authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name Of
the city.
