HONORING MZUSKEGO ' S AFS STUDENT
(Annick Vandeviere) .. WHEREAS, for the past several years many local citizens have
given generously of their time and efforts to maintain the
American Field Service Program in hluskego, and
\\'HEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote under-
standing, friendship and knowledge between thc people of the
tvorld by arranging an interchange of students between the
United States and other countries, and
WHEREAS, for the past year hluskego has been privileged to
have as their AFS student hliss Annick Vandeviere from the
country of Belgium, and
WHEREAS, Annick has exemplified the purpose of the AFS Program
during her visit in Muskego,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of hluskego does hereby honor Miss Annick Vandeviere as
L!uskego's 1981-62 AFS student and extends to her an invitation
to return to our city some day in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be
sent to King Baudouin of Belgium.
