ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR ATTENDANCE BY ELECTED
OFFICIALS AND CITY EMPLOYEES AT CONFERENCES,
MEETINGS, ETC.
WHEREAS, it has been suggested that the Finance Committee
develop a policy for the attendance of elected officials
and city employees at seminars, meetings, conferences, etc.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following policy,
recommended by the Finance Committee, is hereby approved
by the Common Council;
1. The attendance of elected officials and city
employees which require travel does not require
approval by the Finance Committee as long as
specifically been budgeted for.
