APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH RUEKERT EL MIELKE
TO PREPARE PLANS FOR THE NORTHEAST LIFT STATION
AND FORCE MAIN
WHEREAS, the Common Council had previously adopted Resolution
#185-76 authorizing its Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke,
Inc., to prepare planning reports pertaining to the interceptcr
facilities which will serve the Northeast and Northwest Sewer
Districts, and
Master Facilities Plan has also been completed and approved
WHEREAS, the planning work has been completed and the MMSD
by the DNR and EPA, and
WHEREAS, the recommended facilities include a major lift
station located at the Northeast Wastewater Treatment
Facility site and a 24-inch force main to the Milwaukee
‘h County Line; and
WHEREAS, the City’s timetable currently being proposed to
the DNR for connection to the MMSD calls for the plans and
specifications for this project to be completed by June 30, 1982.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, does hereby approve of the proposed AGREEMENT
between the City of Muskego and the Engineering firm of
Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. for preparation of the plans and
specifications for the Northeast District lift station and force
main to the Milwaukee County Line in an amount not to exceed
$87,200.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the agreement after approval by the City Attorney.
