CCR1982011AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN UNCOLLECTIBLE
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (Rescue)
WHEREAS, the Clerk's Office has advised the Finance Committee
there are certain uncollectible accounts for monies due the
city as a result of providing rescue service, and
WHEREAS, several of the accounts involve persons who are on
Medicare or Medical Assistance which are only partially paid
through State and Federal agencies and the law provides that
any unpaid balances are not permitted to be collected from such
persons, and
of the balances due ($1,179.40),
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the cancelling
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recomme.ndation of the Finance Committee
does hereby authorize the Clerk-Comptroller to cancel all
uncollectible amounts due the city resulting from rescue services
provided to recipients of Medical Assistance and Medicare.
