ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-
OWNED LOT ON BAY LANE PLACE
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received an offer to purchase
Lane Place from Jeffrey Verburgt in the amount of $1500.00,
a lot owned by the city in the NE 114 of Section 15 on Bay
and
WHEREAS, the lot in question lies adjacent to the residence
of Jeffrey Verburgt, and
WHEREAS, said offer has been recommended by the Finance
Committee,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby accept the concept of sale of the city owned lot
on Bay Lane Place to Jeffrey Verburgt, said lot being adjacent
to his property for $1500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is authorized
to prepare the necessary documents including a formal offer
to purchase agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents in the name of the
city.
