APPROVING CONTINUATION OF CADET
PROGRAM AT POLICE DEPARTMENT
4 WHEREAS, the Common Council, upon the recommendation of the
Finance Committee, has previously approved the temporary position
of police cadet, and
WHEREAS, the position will be vacant as a result of the ap-
pointment of the present cadet to the position of patrolman,
and
WHEREAS, the use of the cadet not only provides the city with
an opportunity to train a person as either a patrolman or a
telecommunicator but also saves a considerable amount of
money in overtime which would normally have to be paid if
there were not a position of cadet, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
temporary postion of cadet be continued,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
of the city to continue the position of police cadet and that
does hereby determine that it would be in the best interest
it be designated as temporary.
