APPROVAL OF FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACT WITH MUSKEGO
VOLUNTEER FIRE Co$lF’pANy FOR THE YEAR 1982
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Muskego and the
Muskego Volunteer Fire Company enter into a contract for
fire protection for the city’s residents, and
WHEREAS. the attached contract has been recommended for
approval by the city,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby approve of the contract for fire
protection between the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company and the
City of Muskego for the year 1982.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the contract in the name of
the city.

2. Party of the first part will furnish the necessary fire trucks, hose,
ladders and miscellaneous fire-fighting equipment, and the volunteer fire-
men necessary to operate the same, and will respond to calls for fire-
fighting aaaistonce made by MY resident of the area to be served by party
of the first part, and will comb8t the fire with its best efforts. Provided,
however, th8t is fire truck8 of the party of the first part are unavailable
becaure of rerponding to Mother fire call, thbre shall be no liability on
the p8rt of .aid p8rtg of the first part under this agreement. q. Party Of the firat p8rt UrUIWr all liability for damages caused by the
negligent oper8tion of its fire trucks or equipment, and agrees to obtain
automobile liability insurance covering the operations of its trucks said
iSOUr8nCe to have a minimum lirbility for bodily injury in the amounts of
$150,~0.00, $500,000.00 and $60,000.00 for property damage.

4 The party of the second part recognizing the value of mutual aid
agreements between fire departments in laukesha County agrees to permit
Huskego Volunteer Pire Company to continue on with such agreements.
5- Any Prevfous Contracts between the parties are hereby declared null and
void as of January 1, 1982.
