RESOLUTION APPEALING CHARGES MADE BY THE LITTLE
MUSKEGO LAKE PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT FOR
CITY-OWNED LAND IN THE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the qualified electors of the Little Muskego Lake
Protection and Rehabilitation District, at its annual meeting
held on the 14th day of September, 1981, adopted Resolution
#3-81, As Amended, and
WHEREAS, that resolution provided that properties on the
$18.00 to support the 1982 budget and that the City of Muskego,
lake shall be charged $61.00 and properties off the lake
because of its ownership of nine back lots and fifteen lake
lots, plus Idle Isle, shall be assessed 20 percent of the
total budget, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council feels that assessment is excessive
and wishes to appeal the assessment to the lake commissioners,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby appeal the assessment of 20 percent
of the total 1981-82 total budget of the Little Muskego Lake
Protection and Rehabilitation District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the commissioners of the Little
Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District are
requested to reduce the assessment to a more equitable amount.
