RESOLUTION #142-81
ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR FOUR NEW
SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, bids have been advertised for three or four new 1982
model squad cars, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has determined that it would be
more advantageous to the city to order four new squad cars at
this time, and
WHEREAS, the following bids for four new 1982 model squad cars
have been received:

WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the Common Council
accept the low bid received from Mayfair Chrysler Plymouth in the
amount of $34,116.00 for Four squads without trade and that in the
event the city decides not to sell the used squads to accept the bid
of $29,716.00 with a trade-in of four squads.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
the low bid from Mayfair Chrysler Plymouth in the amount of $34,116.00
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept
for four new 1982 model squad cars without trade and that in the event
the city decides not to sell the used squads to accept the bid of
$29,716.00 with a trade-in of four squads.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk-Comptroller is authorized to execute
the necessary legal document of the city.
