AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT BETWEEN BLUE
HEALTH INSURANCE FOR CITY OF MUSKEGO EMPLOYEES
CROSS - BLUE SHIELD AND CITY OF MUSKEGO FOR
WHEREAS, the city presently is under contract with WPS
to provide health insurance to city employees, and
WHEREAS, their rates have recently been increased to $148 28
for the Family Plan and $52.00 for the Single Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
city cancel its policy with WPS and enter into an agreement
with Blue Cross - Blue Shield,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
execute an agreement with Blue Cross - Blue Shield whereby
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
at a cost of $139.02 for the Family Plan and $49.86 for
they will provide health insurance to the city's employees
the Single Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this change in insurance
of the employee unions or organizations.
