AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF ADDITIONAL $5,000.00
FOR LITIGATION WITH MILWAUKEE METROPOLITAN SEWAGE DIST.
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego and several other communities in
tk Milwaukee, Waukesha,Ozaukee metropolitan area have joined
in a suit against the Milwaukee Metro Sewage District, and
WHEREAS, the suit involves determination of who should pay for
northeast section of Milwaukee County, and
the cost of removal of infiltration from Shorewood and the
WHEREAS, it has been estimated that the cost of litigation
for each community would be approximately $10,000.00 of which
$5,000.00 was paid immediately, and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to provide the additional $5,000.00
in order that the litigation can continue, and
WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee has recommended the Common
Council authorize an expenditure in that amount,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer Committee,
Allis,$5,000 00 €rom the Sewer Utility Account to help cover
