ACCEPTANCE OF HIGH BID FOR TREE REMOVAL IN THE ( AS AMENDED)
TESS CORNERS DRAINAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has, as part of the Tess Comers Drainage Project, decided to offer for
sale the trees located within the boundaries of the
detention pond, and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
E. J. Salentine $850.00
Smet Construction Co. 510.00
Donald Gilbergson 205.00
John Maline (J & D Forest Prods) 500 .OO
John Ernst 206.00
John Eckstein $15.00/tree (24 trees)
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the high
bid of E. J. Salentine in the amount of $850.00 be
accepted,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Comon Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the high bid of E. J
Salentine in the amount of $850.00 to cut and remove the trees in the detention pond area of the Tess Corners
Drainage Project area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary documents in the name of the
city,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this acceptance is subject to the
closing of the sale of the property between the city and the seller
(Kurth) .
