RESOLUTION CANCELLING BUS TRANSPORTATION
OF AGING AND THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE WAUKESHA COUNTY DEPT
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of October, 1980, the City of
Muskego entered into an agreement with the Waukesha County
Department of Aging whereby they would provide, on a cost-
sharing basis, inter-city bus service to the senior
citizens, and
WHEREAS, at the time the resolution was adopted it was
agreed that a three or four month trial period would be
able to determine whether or not there is a need for such
a service, and
WHEREAS, since that time there has not been more than two
people per week using the service, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that the need for such a service
is non-existent and it has been recommended that it be
discontinued, and
WHEREAS, a 30-day notice of cancellation of the contract
is required,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby advise the Waukesha County
Department of Aging that the contract between the City of
Muskego and the Waukesha County Department of Aging will
be terminated as of May 1, 1981. R
