RESOLUTION #36-81
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING WAUKESHA COUNTY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Park and Planning Commission
has recommended that a county-wide comprehensive plan be
developed, and
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Board has requested that
be determined, and
the views of the municipalities regarding the proposal
WHEREAS, the development of a county-wide plan would
aid in the preservation of our natural resources and
could also help assure coordination and continuity of
planning between neighboring municipalities, and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been assured that
its present comprehensive plan would not be changed by
the County, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has sent the matter to
the Common Council without recommendation,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, recognizing the value of a county-wide
comprehensive plan, does hereby indicate its willingness

to consider adoptingsaid plan when developed by the
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is subject to
the understanding that the city's present comprehensive
plan will be used in its entirety by the County Park and
Planning Commission.
