CCR1981035RESOLUTION 1/35-81 ' AUTHORIZING THE FUNDING FOR LIBRARY DESK ATTENDANT
WHEREAS, approximately two and one-half years ago the Comon
Library, and
Council established the position of Desk Attendant for the
WHEREAS, since that time the position has been funded by CETA,
and
WHEREAS, it has been a policy of the Comon Council not to use
CETA funds unless they anticipated making the position funded
permanent, and
WHEREAS,CETA has advised the City that the Desk Attendant posi-
tion will no longer be funded, and
WHEREAS, the Library Board has recommended that the employe
presently filling the position of Desk Attendant under CETA be
continued to be employed by the City, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has also recommended that the
position be funded by the City.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the Library Board to continue to fill the
necessary transfer the funds from the Contingency Account.
