RESOLUTION #5-81
AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN UNCOLLECTIBLE
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (Rescue)
WHEREAS, the Clerk's Office has advised the Finance Conunittee
city as a result of providing rescue service, and
there are certain uncollectible accounts for monies due the
WHEREAS, several of the accounts involve persons who are on Medical
Assistance which are only partially paid through State and Federal
agencies and the law provides that any unpaid balances are not per-
mitted to be collected from such persons, and
WHEREAS, accounts also involve persons who cannot be located, are
deceased or have moved out of state, and
WHEREAS, Lhe Finance Cormnittee has reconrmended the cancelling 0 of the balances due ($551.00),
THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Cmon Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Conunittee, does
hereby authorize the Clerk-Comptroller to cancel all uncollectible
amounts due the city resulting fra rescue services provided to
recipients of Medical Assistance, and people who cannot be located,
are deccased or have moved out of state.
