AUTHORIZING EXPANSION OF THE CITY'S
LANDFILL SITE
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego's agreement between Waste Manage-
ment and Carl and Lydia Wauer whereby the citizens of the City
of Muskego are provided free use of the landfill site expires
in January of 1983, and
WHEREAS, the Public Welfare Committee has been advised that
after the expansion of the site covered by the agreement the
life of the landfill should extend beyond that period, and
WHEREAS, additional lands north of the present site are
available for further expansion, and
WHEREAS, Waste Management has indicated an interest in request-
permitted to expand the present landfill site, and

WHEREAS, expansion of the site would provide dumping privileges
to the citizens of the City of Muskego up to 1990, and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the citizens of
the City of Muskego that the Common Council indicate its
willingness to consider the expansion of the landfill site,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby declare its willingness to consider
