DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE COMMON COUNCIL TO USE
TIF AS A METHOD OF PAYING A PORTION OF COSTS FOR
FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR BIG MUSKEGO LAKE-BASS BAY
PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Big Muskego Lake - Bass Bay Protection and Rehabilitation District has authorized a feasibility study
60% of which shall be paid for by the State, and
WHEREAS, the annual meeting of the Big Muskego Lake-Bass Bay
Protection and Rehabilitation District authorized assessment
of $20.00 per resident or parcel of land in the district, and
WHEREAS, tax increment financing is available to help the
district pay the balance 'of the cost of the feasibility study
as well as other expenses incurred in the formation and
operation of the district, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council has adopted a project plan for Tax Increment District 84 which includes the feasibility study and,
WHEREAS, the use of the tax increment financing would be
beneficial to the Big Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation
District,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby declar its intent to use tax increment
thus far and for the year 1981 for the development and initiation
financing as a method of paying the balance of the costs incurred
of the feasibility study of Big Muskego Lake - Bass Bay Protection
and Rehabilitation District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these include, but are not limited to,
field work, administration, mailings, notices, etc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount to be financed through
tax increment financing is riot to .exceed $25,00$.00.

tax increment financing is estimated to be $25,000.00.
