AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE FOR THE
PURCHASE OF DANDELION PARK
WHEREAS, the property presently identified as Dandelion
Park is for sale, and
WHEREAS, the property consists of approximately 30 acres
including 1400 feet of shore line, and
WHEREAS, the property is the last piece of vacant land
which could be available for public use, and
WHEREAS, the location of the property and the existing
fine beach area, pavilions and beach house would make
it an ideal addition to the city’s park system, and
WHEREAS, LAWCON funding in the amount of fifty percent
(50%) might be available,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, recognizing the potential value to the
citizens of the city, does hereby deckare its interest
in the possibility of acquiring the property known as
Dandelion Park.
RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to
