HONORING MUSKEGO'S 1979 - 80 AFS STUDENT

e WHEREAS, for the past several years many local citizens have
given generously of their time and efforts to maintain the
American Field Service Program in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote under-
world by arranging an interchange of students between the
standing, friendship and knowledge between the people of the
United States and other countries, and
WHEREAS, for the past year Muskego has been privileged to have
as their AFS student Miss Retno Murwanifrom the Republic of
Indonesia - Island of Java, and
0 WHEREAS, Retno has exemplified the purpose of the AFS Program
during her visit in Muskego, and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby honor Miss Retno Murwani as Muskego's
AFS student and extends to her an invitation to return to our
city some day in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be sent to President-Gen-Suharto, Republic of "Indonesia -
Island of Java. n
