ESTABLISHING LAUNCHING FEES AT IDLE ISLE
(As Amended)
WHEREAS, at the present time the .City of Muskego has the
following launching fee schedules
City Resident Non-resident
No motor
Under 10 H P.
Over 50 H.P. 10-49 H.P.

City Residents - $5 00 Seasonal pass
Resident senior citizens - No charge
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been advised by the Depart-
ment of Natural Resources that the city's fees are in conflict
with regulations established by the DNR under the authority
of the Wisconsin Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been further advised that
unless those fees are amended to coincide with those approved
by the DNR, namely', $2 00 for residents, $3.00 for non-
residents, all efforts by the Department of Natural Resources,
rehabilitation efforts will cease, and
such as fish management, fowl management, as well as lake
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has filed an appeal with the
Department.of Natural Resources which, if granted, would
by the DNR, and
permit the city to charge fees higher than those established
WHEREAS, it is necessayy that the fees charged by the city
for use of the boat launch at Idle Isle :coincide with the
State's until such time as the results of the city's appeal
is determined,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby establish the following boat launching fees at Idle Isle
City Resident $2 00 Non-resident 3.00
City Resident season pass 5.00 City Senior citizens No charge
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Parks and
Recreation Board are urged to do whatever is necessary in
order that its appeal to the Department of Natural Resources
can be expedited.
