AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN UNCOLLECTIBLE
ACCOUNTS-PAY-ABLE:i(Rescue -and. Snow Plowing):
WHEREAS, the Clerk's Office has advised the Finance Committee
there are certain uncollectible accounts for monies due the
city as a result of providing rescue service and snow plowing
and,
WHEREAS, accounts which date back to 1974 involve persons
who cannot be located, are deceased or have moved out of
state, and do not own property in the city and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the cancelling
of the balances due ($1,240.00),
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Clerk-Comptroller to
cancel all uncollectible amounts due the city resulting
from rescue services and snow plowing which date back to
1974 involving persons who cannot be located, are deceased
or have moved out of state, or do not own property in city.
