AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS FOR PURCHASE OF
PORTION OF ELROY KURTH PROPERTY FOR TESS
CORNERS DRAINAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego is planning a major storm drainage
project in the Tess Corners area, and
WHEREAS, the plans provide for an 8-acre detention pond on
the Elroy Kurth property, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that negotiations begin in order
that the necessary lands could be acquired,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council, upon the
recouunendation of the. Public Works Committee, does hereby
of the property, Mr. Elroy Kurth, and to have an appraisal
authorize .the Mayor to begin negotiations with the owner ~
of the property needed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee is
directed to report the results of the negotiations back
to the Common Council before the final commitments are
made.
