AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS FOR PURCHASE OF
(As Amended)
LAND FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT SUB-STATION
IN THE AREA OF TANS & RACINE
WHEREAS, the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company has expressed
an interest in establishing a fire sub-station on the
southeast corners of Tans Drive and Racine, and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Finance Committee it
would be in the best interest of the city to purchase
the land in behalf of the fire department, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
Common Council authorize the Mayor and City Attorney
to begin negotiations in order that the land can be
acquired,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City
Attorney to negotiate with the owners of a parcel of land
located on the southeast corner of Tans Drive and Racine
for the purpose of constructing a fire sub-station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that they will report the results of
their negotiations to the Common Council prior to any
final actions.
