AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS FOR PURCHASE OF
IN THE AREA OF TANS & HILLENDALE DR.
LAND FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT SUB-STATION
WHEREAS, the Muskgo Volunteer Fire Company has expressed
an interest in establishing a fire sub-station on the
southwest comers of Tans Drive and Hillendale Drive,
and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Finance Committee it
would be in the best interest of the city to purchase
the land in behalf of the fire department, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
Comon Council authorize the Mayor and City Attorney
to begin negotiations in order that the land can be
acquired,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Comon Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Attorney to negotiate with the owners of a parcel of land
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City
located on the southwest corner of Tans Drive and Hillen-
dale Drive for the purpose of constructing a fire sub-
station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that they.wil1 report the results of
their negotiations to the Common Council prior to any final
action.
