AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN UNCOLLECTIBLE
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (Rescue & Snowplowing)
0 WHEREAS, the Clerk's Office has advised the Finance Committee
there are certain uncollectible accounts for monies due the
city as a result of providing rescue service and snowplowing,
and
WHEREAS, the majority of the accounts involved are on
Medical Assistance which have been partially paid for through
federal or state agencies, and
permitted to be collected from the recipient of federal or
WHEBEAS,. the law provides that any unpaid balances are not
state assistance, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the cancelling
of the balances due ($1,465.00),
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Clerk-Comptroller to
cancel all uncollectible amounts due the city resulting
from rescue services provided to recipients of Medical
Assistance and for snowplowing services.
