GRANTING PERMISSION FOR DRIVING SKILL CONTEST ON
BIG MUSKEG0 LAKE
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received a request from an
organization known as Badgerland TNT, 4x4 Club, for permission
to hold a driving skill contest on Big Muskego Lake on
January 27, 1980 and February 17, 1980, and
WHEREAS, Section 20.13 of the city’s municipal code requires
a permit when it is anticipated that speeds would be in excess
of 10 m.p.h., and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of
a permit subject to the submittal of the proper application
and further recommends that the $200.00 fee be waived,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby grant a permit to hold a driving
skill contest on Big Muskego Lake to the Badgerland TNT,
4x4, Club, on January 27, 1980 and February 17, 1980.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license fee of $200.00 be
waived since only one contestant at a time would be involved
and it is questionable whether or not speeds would be in
excess of 10 m.p.h.
