RESOLUTION # 202-79
GRANTING PERMISSION FOR DRIVING SKILL CONTEST
ON LITTLE MUSKEGO LAKE
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has received a request from the
Muskego Corvette Club for permission to hold their 4th annual
driving skill contest on Little Muskego Lake (Gymkhanna), and
WHEREAS, Section 20.13 of the city’s municipal code requires a
permit when it is anticipated that speeds would be in excess of
10 m.p.h., and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of a
permit subject to the submittal of the proper application and
further recommends that the $200.00 fee be waived,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, does hereby grant a permit to hold a driving skill contest
on Little Muskego Lake to the Muskego Corvette Club on January 20, 1980
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license fee of $200.00 be waived -
since only one contestant at a time would be involved and it is
questionable whether or not speeds would be in excess of 10 m.p.h.
