ESTABLISHING 1979 SALARIES FOR PUBLIC
WORKS EMPLOYEES
4 WHEREAS, the negotiators for the Public Works Department
regard to salary increases for the year 1979 and certain
and the City of Muskego have arrived at a settlement in
other benefits as provided for in Resolution #142-79, and
WHEREAS, the question of increased retirement benefits has
not been resolved by the members of the Public Works
Department, however, they would like to receive their
retroactive pay, and
WHEREAS, it has been agreed that negotiations regarding the
retirement program will continue during 1979 and in the
event a satisfactory settlement is reached it would be
retroactive to January 1, 1979, if possible,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the.recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby approve of a settlement of the
1979 labor agreement with the Department of Public Works
and which includes those benefits established in Resolution
#142-79 plus a salary increase of 7 5% which provides for
the following: 1
