ESTABLISHING FEES FOR REAL ESTATE INQUIRIES

WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received numerous requests
for copies of duplicate tax bills or information concerning
real estate taxes, assessments, status of outstanding or
deferred assessments, contemplated public improvements,
sewer or water charges, floodplain information and other
real estate in the city, and
inquiries of like nature concerning particular parcels of
WHEREAS, such inquiries have proved to be time consuming
to various city departments replying to such requests, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recomnended that a $5.00
fee should be charged for such services,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recornendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby establish the following policy
Real Estate Inquiries A fee of $5.00 shall be charged
for all requests to the City of Muskego to furnish
written information or copies of (1) real estate taxes,
(2) special assessments, (3) contemplated public improve-
ments, sewer or water charges, floodplain zoning inform-
ation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such fees shall not be charged
to local residents requesting duplicate copies of their
personal real estate tax bill.
