AUTHORIZING APPLICATION OF CETA FUNDING FOR
TEMPORARY POSITION OF LIBRARY AIDE
WHEREAS, the Common Council has received a request from the
Library Board to hire a Library Aide (Desk Clerk) under the
CETA Program and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended granting the
reqest subject to the understanding that the position will
only be temporary and would be terminated when CETA funding
ceases, and
WHEREAS, the additional aidewould make it possible to more
adequately handle the persons served by the Outreach Program,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Librarian to hire 0 a temporary Library Aide if CETA funding is available,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the position Library Aide will exist only until CETA funding is terminated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary for the position of
Library Aidrshall be $3.00 per hour.
