REQUESTING THE WAUKESHA COUNTY BOARD TO
LOWER THE SPEED LIMIT ON C.T.H. "00"
FROM 45 MPH to 40 MPH
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee of the Common Council
of the City of Muskego has received a petition from
residents living on or near C.T.H. "00" requesting the
speed limit k.e reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph, and
WHEREAS, the reduction in the speed limit would be
and
compatible with existing speed limits in Milwaukee County,
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended that the
speed limit be reduced to 40 mph,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recomnendation of the Public
Safety Committee, does hereby request the Waukesha County
Board of Supervisors to take the necessary actions in
order that the speed limit on C.T.H. "00" in the City of
Muskego can be reduced to 40 mph from Hi-View Drive to
its intersection with S.T.H. 36.
