CCR1979098URGING WAUKESHA COUNTY BOARD TO IMPOSE "NO THROUGH
TRUCKING" ON HIGHWAY "00" IN CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee of the Common Council
has received a petition from residents residing on or near
C.T.H "00" requesting that it be posed in such a way so
as to prohibit through trucking, and
WHEREAS, there is an alternate route from the intersection
of C.T.H. "00" and Highway 100 in Hales Corners to the inter-
section of S.T.H. 36 and U.S.H. 45 which provides better
facilities for trucking purposes, and
WHEREAS, the excessive trucking is a danger to residents
Durham Hill School, and
living on the highway as well as the children who attend
WHEREAS, the Safety Committee has. recommended that the Common
Council adopt a resolution urging the Waukesha County Board
of Supervisors to adopt the necessary ordinance which would
prohibit through trucking on C .T .H. "OO",
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Safety
Committee, does hereby request the Waukesha County Board of
which would prohibit through trucking on C .T.H. "00" in
Supervisors to adopt the necessary resolution or ordinance
the City of Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED t.hat a copy of this resolution shall
be forwarded to the City of Franklin and the Village of Hales
Corners.
